Who we are

Optio was formed to assist government  agencies, specifically jails in providing assistance and expertise in the management, review and performance improvements surrounding the delivery of healthcare within a detention facility.  With 14+ years of cumulative experience in correctional healthcare and 10+ years in commercial healthcare, it is grounded in the understanding of the delivery of healthcare in an ever-changing environment.

What’s our focus

Optio’s focus will be to evaluate operations against the respective state governing health care standards, ICE standards and other national correctional healthcare standards. Additionally, Optio will review total costs and charges to ensure effective but cost efficient operations.
